First and foremost, welcome to my blog.
The world today is changing exponentially - everything from politics, the economy, social cultures, to technology and even the potential rise of new superpower nations.
This blog is a representation of my interests and values, and furthermore, many of my aspirations. I believe that as members of society we should strive to take steps forward together, and strive to embody the words by John Quincy Adams: "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader". Through insightful readings I hope to inspire others as well as help nurture the rise of a new and more innovative generation. Tomorrow is ours, we simply need to seize today.
If I had to summarize the values and intents of this blog, I'd put it this way:
'The Globe Today' will provide insight on some of the most controversial issues that plague society today. However, this will all be offered from a unique perspective - my own. 'The Globe Today' advocates against consumerism, and supports equality, free trade, cultural diversity, and monopoly-free markets. Franklin Delano Roosevelt had once said, "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today". On that note; let us learn from our mistakes, educate ourselves as individuals, and build, as a community, for a better world today.
I hope you enjoy the readings and take from them as much I have.
